HOUSTON, TX (February xx, 2015) – For the third consecutive year, Aliana Development Company has won multiple awards from the National Association of Home Builders, winning prestigious awards for Marketing Director of the Year and Special Promotion of the Year.
Since 2013, the Houston-based company and developer of Aliana has won six awards from the Association’s Sales & Marketing Council, recognized as the home building industry’s most sought-after sales and marketing awards. The 2,000-acre west Houston master-planned community near Sugar Land is conveniently located on the Grand Parkway (SH 99) between U.S. 59 and Interstate 10.
Linda Kilgore, director of marketing for Aliana Development Company, won her third award as NAHB Marketing Director of the Year, adding to her collection of awards from the Texas Association of Home Builders, Greater Houston Builders Association and American Marketing Association.
Aliana Development also won an NAHB award for Special Promotion of the Year for the Aliana Art and Music Festival, a spring event hosted by the master-planned community presenting the artistic accomplishments of Fort Bend ISD students in the visual arts. Crowds in excess of 2,500, more than doubling the previous year’s figures, experienced hundreds of original works of art by local students arranged in each of Aliana’s 14 model homes.
Aliana, the fast-growing west Houston community, recently ranked eighth on the annual list of the nation’s top-20 selling master-planned communities for new homes in 2014, according to John Burns Real Estate Consulting. With 500 new home sales last year, Aliana was one of only two Houston master-planned communities to experience a sales increase in 2014.
