MEMO FROM FORT BEND INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT:
Effective June 1, 2017, new Kindergarten students will be able to enroll at Madden Elementary, and students in grades 1-5 will enroll at nearby Oyster Creek Elementary. This enrollment cap is a temporary measure due to fast growth in the Grand Parkway corridor and will be in effect until a more permanent solution is identified, such as the construction of a new elementary school. For more information, please refer to this FAQ from Fort Bend ISD.
Aliana is being built with our eye on the future, handcrafting a community that nurtures students and inspires exploration in acclaimed Fort Bend Independent School District schools. Madden Elementary School opened in the Fall 2015 in our community, within walking distance for most Aliana families, while Oyster Creek Elementary has remained one of Fort Bend ISD's most sought-after schools. Our nearby middle schools and high schools are rated among the best performing in the Houston area. Plus, the community maintains partnerships with several higher learning institutions – The University of Houston Sugar Land, Houston Community College and Wharton County Junior College, to assure that growing up in Aliana is the beginning of a lifetime of learning.
